For studies that will continue, there is a risk information document that we believe researchers should use with the following protocol (COVID risk research sheet 03152020 Final).
- Research teams should attempt to contact all participants before their scheduled research visit to provide them this information about COVID-19 risks.
- When participants arrive for a research-related visit, the study team should confirm that the participant has received this information. If not, then this information should be provided at that time.
For studies that will pause face-face participation, we provide the document COVID-19 Study Pause Guidelines with Key Points and FAQs that investigators should incorporate into their communication with research participants.
